Beyond Brawn is the follow up to Stuart McRobert's hit Brawn. Beyond Brawn was published in 1999 and is 512 pages long. The book was designed to show you how to achieve your bodybuilding potential while remaining drug free.

The first section of the book shows you how to establish a sound foundation. There is plan for growth and expectations are included on how much mass and strength you should expect to gain. It also tells you what equipment you will need for the training program.

Section two focuses on how to train. It shows you how to set up a training cycle and how to achieve the fastest gains. Training program design, avoiding overtraining and how to perform your reps are a couple topics touched upon in this section. The section ends with 23 tips on how to improve your training productivity.

The final portion of the book focuses on special issues. These include a real life training example and ways to learn from it. This section also includes some great information on nutrition. There is another section on age and how to stop it from holding you back no matter what your age and goals.
